Explore the state of Rajasthan...after arriving in Delhi, we journey on to Ahmedabad, Dungarpur, Kumbhalgarh, Narlai, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Jaipur and Agra.

Our travels have us staying in Heritage Hotels along the way, where we overnight in palaces handed down through Royal families which have been lovingly restored to their previous glory.

This trip includes a two day extravaganza of color, music and festivity at the annual Pushkar Camel Fair.  While the fair is initially devoted to trading livestock, it also encompasses shopping for local attire, jewelry, tattoos and additional merriment including camel races, jugglers, fireworks and a beauty contest, among other activities.

The people, food and history along the way make for a breathtaking visit to a culture ripe with color and tradition.

Pre-tour to Varanasi - November 1 - 4, 2010

Varanasi Pre-Tour:  For those wishing to maximize their journey, please join us in what is considered the holiest city in India.  We will spend three days in and around Varanasi. Among the highlights of this trip is a special evening cruise on the Ganges River where we witness Hindu devotees performing the "Puja" with lighted lamps to the backdrop of cymbals, bells and chanting.
